We had my school's annual carnival today so I took Jordan and Evan. Aunt Niecey and Parker met us there too. It's a fun and FREE time that our parent's group puts on for the students. The lady who heads it up is a former grandparent of a student and we say she has the "midas touch" because it seems nobody that she asks for a donation from can turn her down. She gets TONS of door prizes and auction items donated, plus tons of stuff for the goody bag, and tons of free food. The parents all pull together (plus staff of course) and it turns out to be a pretty awesome event all geared to our special kids and their siblings. There was a couple of bounce houses that Evan wanted nothing to do with...which surprises me because the last time we went to Busch Gardens he tried to jump onto their huge jumpy thing (not really a bounce house....it more like a huge air pillow) with the big kids and i had to keep stopping him. Go figure. But he did have a blast with the train ride (which even had bubbles when it went), and some of the games...the duck pond and golf were the biggest hits. He wasn't so sure about the fire truck which also surprised me considering his love of fire trucks! I did get him to let go of me long enough to put him inside the cab of the firetruck...not for long but he did go in. Parker loved the fire truck! and the BIG bounce house that had a slide! We also tried out the horse drawn carriage which I kind of had to force him on but he ended up being okay. He liked the horse but definitely wouldn't touch it. He even got to paint a picture...they set it up near the fence, clothes pinned a large sheet of paper to it and had several spray bottles of kid friendly paint to use...pretty ingenious i though! There's a DJ too that plays lots of fun dance and kid type songs. Of course my dancing man got out there and shook his tush. The last picture is of him practicing the chicken dance but we never heard it! He must have truly had fun because it was all he could talk about in the bath tonight.

That Evan is too cute! Looks like he didn't try running off this time! Jake would've loved that fire truck :)
That carnival sounds like fun! Carefull mom, you may have a little trainiac on your hands! It's something Steven has not outgrown, and he is almost 7!
It looks like fun! Your dancing man sure is cute! I wanna see that action with my own two eyes.
Parker sure had a good time. He was very happy to see Jordan and Eban (that's what Parker calls him). Thanks for inviting us - free fun is right up our alley!!
